Times are planning guides, not national averages or guaranteed schedules. They reflect published provider examples and patient guidance. The treating team confirms the individual plan, time needed near the clinic and fitness to travel. Waiting lists are not included.

Appointments

Ask the provider to list each appointment: initial assessment, tests, treatment, results discussion and follow-up. Confirm which require attendance, which can be combined and which may be possible remotely.

  • How many separate visits are planned, and on which dates?
  • When will test results be ready, and could they change the schedule?
  • Who should be contacted if an appointment or treatment plan changes?

Hospital & recovery

The length of a procedure is different from the time in hospital and the time needed nearby afterwards. Ask for these separately, including any rehabilitation and return visits. The treating team confirms restrictions and when travel is appropriate.

  • Is the care outpatient, a day case, inpatient or a rehabilitation programme?
  • Who provides aftercare and support outside appointment hours?
  • What is needed for accessible accommodation, a companion and the journey home?

Costs & coordination

Request a written quotation showing the provider’s clinical charges separately from RAUQ coordination, interpretation, translation, transport and accommodation. Confirm what is included, who receives each payment and how changes are handled.

  • Are extra investigations, follow-up, medicines and rehabilitation included or quoted separately?
  • What are the payment, cancellation and refund terms?
  • Which documents does the provider need through the agreed secure channel?

Prepare your enquiry

Start with the specialty and the kind of coordination you need. RAUQ can clarify arrangements; the treating team decides diagnosis, treatment and fitness to travel. A request is not a confirmed booking.
