Is RAUQ a hospital?

RAUQ coordinates treatment and rehabilitation journeys. Qualified providers make clinical assessments, acceptance and treatment decisions. RAUQ is not a hospital or an emergency service.

What should I share at first contact?

Share your contact preference, the broad support needed, destination if known and approximate timing. Please leave diagnoses, medical records, passport details and identity documents out of the public form.

Can you guarantee acceptance or an outcome?

No. The provider decides acceptance after its review, and treatment outcomes vary. Coordination helps organize communication and arrangements; it does not guarantee a clinical result.

Does visa assistance guarantee approval?

No. We can help organize required information and genuine provider documents. Only the responsible authorities decide visas and entry, under the rules applicable to your circumstances.

How are costs organized?

Provider treatment bills, RAUQ coordination fees and travel or living costs are separate responsibilities. The scope, inclusions, exclusions and payment recipient should be clear before you agree. We do not publish a universal treatment price.

Is a medical-spa stay the same as rehabilitation?

No. Intensive rehabilitation, outpatient physiotherapy, medical-spa programmes and wellness differ in assessment, staffing, intensity and supervision. Ask the provider which care setting is suitable and what the programme includes.

Can we communicate in Arabic?

Arabic communication is part of our coordination approach. Interpretation or written translation for particular appointments and documents must be scoped and confirmed separately.

Can insurance or an institution pay?

Coverage depends on the payer, policy, authorization and provider arrangements. Obtain written confirmation from the responsible payer. A coordination enquiry does not establish insurance coverage or institutional sponsorship.

Can an accompanying family member receive support?

Tell us the broad accommodation, transport and language needs of accompanying relatives. Availability and any additional costs need to be confirmed. Do not send their identity or health information in the public form.

What if I need urgent medical help?

Contact the local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare provider immediately. The RAUQ enquiry service is not monitored as an emergency channel.

What happens after I send a request?

You see a short reference straight away, and we email a confirmation if you gave an address. A coordinator then contacts you in your chosen language to understand the practical needs. Nothing is arranged until the scope is agreed in writing.

Can I choose the hospital or doctor?

Yes. You can name a provider, and we coordinate the enquiry with it. You can also ask us to explain which kinds of providers offer the care you are looking for. Each provider decides for itself whether it can accept the patient.

How long does it take to arrange?

It depends on the provider’s review, the documents, any visa, and the availability of appointments and accommodation. Plan in weeks rather than days, and avoid non-refundable bookings until the confirmations arrive.

Do I need a visa?

It depends on your nationality and the length of the stay. Germany and Czechia are in the Schengen area: short stays are up to 90 days in any 180 days, and longer treatment needs a national visa. The embassy or consulate decides. Our visa guide explains what to check.

How do I pay the hospital?

You pay the provider directly, according to its estimate and invoice. Self-paying international patients are usually asked for an advance before admission, which is settled against the final invoice. RAUQ’s coordination fee is separate.

Can a doctor review my reports before I travel?

Some providers give a written second opinion on reports sent from abroad. Whether this is available, and what it costs, is the provider’s decision. Reports are shared only through a secure route agreed with the provider.

Can you arrange an air ambulance or medical transport?

RAUQ arranges ordinary transport only. Medical transport, including air ambulances, is arranged with qualified clinicians and specialist operators, who decide whether and how the patient can travel. Tell us early if it may be needed.

Who sees the information I send?

Only authorized RAUQ staff, to handle your request. We share information with a provider only with your agreement and through an agreed route. Please do not send medical records through the public form.
