Physiotherapy & rehabilitation · Planning care in Germany and Czechia
- Clinical name
- Individual therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation
- German
- Krankengymnastik / muskuloskelettale Physiotherapie
- Czech
- Individuální léčebná tělesná výchova / fyzioterapie
A physiotherapist assesses movement, strength and daily function, then plans exercises and other appropriate techniques for musculoskeletal problems or postoperative recovery. Treatment follows the diagnosis and surgical restrictions where relevant.

Time, hospital stay & appointments
Times are planning guides, not national averages or guaranteed schedules. They reflect published provider examples and patient guidance. The treating team confirms the individual plan, time needed near the clinic and fitness to travel. Waiting lists are not included.
- Procedure or course duration
- Session length, weekly frequency and overall programme duration must be specified by the rehabilitation team. The cited services do not define one standard course for every condition.
- Hospital stay
- Outpatient therapy is available. Inpatient rehabilitation is a separate care pathway requiring its own assessment and admission plan.
- Visits and repeat attendance
- 1 functional assessment, repeated supervised sessions and progress reviews. Ask how many sessions require attendance and which exercises continue at home.
- Recovery and travel planning
- Obtain a written home programme and a handover to the local therapist when travelling. Hospital discharge and completion of rehabilitation are different milestones.
Sources & finding a provider
Editorial source check: 29 October 2026. This is educational information, not an individual clinical assessment.
These country-specific sources document the service or its clinical use; their inclusion does not indicate a RAUQ partnership. Case acceptance, appointment availability and payment arrangements require separate provider confirmation.
