German
Allgemeinpädiatrische Untersuchung / Entwicklungsbeurteilung
Czech
Pediatrické vyšetření / posouzení vývoje dítěte

An age-appropriate history and examination for a child’s symptoms, growth or development. The paediatrician decides whether tests or a specialist referral are needed; adult investigation packages are not simply applied to children.

Time, hospital stay & appointments

Times are planning guides, not national averages or guaranteed schedules. They reflect published provider examples and patient guidance. The treating team confirms the individual plan, time needed near the clinic and fitness to travel. Waiting lists are not included.

Procedure or course duration
The cited clinics do not publish one standard length. A developmental concern, several symptoms or interpretation can require a longer appointment.
Hospital stay
A planned consultation is usually outpatient. The child’s condition determines whether observation or inpatient assessment is required.
Visits and repeat attendance
Start with 1 consultation. Tests, results discussion and paediatric subspecialty appointments are added only as indicated. Confirm arrangements for a parent or legal guardian.
Recovery and travel planning
Bring growth records, vaccination documentation and previous reports. Ask for a written plan that can be shared with the child’s usual doctor.

Sources & finding a provider

Editorial source check: 29 October 2026. This is educational information, not an individual clinical assessment.

These country-specific sources document the service or its clinical use; their inclusion does not indicate a RAUQ partnership. Case acceptance, appointment availability and payment arrangements require separate provider confirmation.
