Time, hospital stay & appointments
Times are planning guides, not national averages or guaranteed schedules. They reflect published provider examples and patient guidance. The treating team confirms the individual plan, time needed near the clinic and fitness to travel. Waiting lists are not included.
- Procedure or course duration
- Israelitisches Krankenhaus Hamburg describes continuous recording over 24 hours. The cardiologist may prescribe a longer recording when symptoms are infrequent; fitting and analysis are additional.
- Hospital stay
- Usually outpatient. The recording continues away from the clinic, according to its device instructions.
- Visits and repeat attendance
- Usually 2 practical contacts for fitting and return, then a results discussion. Confirm whether return can be arranged without another medical appointment and whether the review can be remote.
- Recovery and travel planning
- Keep the symptom and activity diary requested by the team. This scheduled test is not an emergency response system.
Sources & finding a provider
Editorial source check: 29 October 2026. This is educational information, not an individual clinical assessment.
These country-specific sources document the service or its clinical use; their inclusion does not indicate a RAUQ partnership. Case acceptance, appointment availability and payment arrangements require separate provider confirmation.
