  • Radiation oncology

Radiotherapy uses a planned dose and treatment volume. Planning scans, treatment fractions and review visits are separate appointments; the schedule depends on the tumour and treatment aim.

  • Reconstructive plastic surgery

Reconstructive surgery restores tissue coverage, shape or function after disease, injury or prior treatment. Planning may require staged procedures and rehabilitation.

  • Regenerative medicine

Indication-specific tissue repair, such as regulated autologous cartilage-cell implantation. Experimental cell injections are not interchangeable with established treatment.

  • Rehabilitation & recovery

Physiotherapy, rehabilitation programmes and postoperative recovery share a focus on function and daily life. The programme may combine different therapies, with the setting and intensity matched to assessed needs.

  • Reproductive medicine

Fertility investigation, reproductive endocrinology and assisted reproduction such as IVF or ICSI. Eligibility and available methods require centre review.

  • Retina & vitreous care

Retinal care ranges from imaging and repeated injections to vitreoretinal surgery. Follow-up and travel restrictions depend on the condition and whether an intraocular gas bubble is used.

  • Rheumatology

Inflammatory arthritis and systemic autoimmune conditions, with disease-modifying treatment and regular monitoring when needed.

  • Risk-based cancer screening

Screening is for people without symptoms of the condition being screened for. Age, prior findings, family history and national guidance determine which programme is appropriate.

  • Scar treatment & reconstruction

Scar care considers the age, type, symptoms and functional effect of a scar. Injections, laser, surgery and rehabilitation have different uses and cannot promise scar removal.

  • Shoulder & elbow care

Shoulder and elbow assessment examines tendon injury, instability and joint disease. Treatment aims and movement restrictions should be agreed before surgery or rehabilitation.

  • Sleep medicine

Sleep apnoea and other sleep disorders, with sleep studies and treatments such as positive airway pressure where indicated.

  • Spine centers

Assessment of disc herniation, spinal stenosis and scoliosis; rehabilitation, pain care or surgery depends on findings.
